Planning Engineer/ Project Planner

About the Company

We are a leading A1 main contractor in Singapore with a strong track record in delivering large-scale building projects across residential, commercial, and institutional sectors. We are seeking a highly motivated Planning Engineer to support project delivery through effective planning, scheduling, and progress control.

• Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Prepare baseline programmes, catch-up programmes, and recovery plans for building projects.
• Track project progress against schedule and identify potential delays or risks.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure alignment with project timelines.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports, including S-curve analysis and variance reports.
• Conduct delay analysis and support Extension of Time (EOT) claims where required.
• Monitor critical path activities and recommend mitigation strategies to ensure timely project completion.
• Review subcontractors’ work programmes and ensure integration into the master schedule.
• Participate in project meetings and provide planning insights to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and project contractual requirements.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience in planning/scheduling for building construction projects in Singapore.
• Experience working with A1 main contractors is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, methodologies, and project lifecycle.
• Good communication and coordination skills with ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work under tight deadlines.

• Experience in large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments
• Knowledge of local construction regulations and practices in Singapore
