Technician (Assembly Technician)

Job Scope – Mechanical / Electrical Assembly Technician

• Responsible for mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, or both mechanical and electrical assembly of machine modules, complete machines, and sub-assemblies.
• Perform machine assembly according to manufacturing work instructions, engineering drawings, and assembly procedures.
• For mechanical assembly:
• Install machine parts, components, frames, and structures according to mechanical drawings.
• Perform fitting, alignment, fastening, and adjustment of machine components.
• For electrical assembly:
• Carry out electrical wiring, cable routing, wire harnessing, panel wiring, and connection works based on electrical schematics and circuitry blueprints.
• Ensure proper cable management and correct electrical connections.
• Support machine testing, troubleshooting, and basic debugging during assembly stage.
• Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and production teams to ensure assembly quality and production schedule are met.
• Identify and report assembly issues, missing parts, or technical problems to the supervisor.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure the work area is clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and comply with company safety regulations at all times.

MAIN JOB SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

• At least a NITEC level qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Able to read electro-mechanical drawings.
• 0 to 3 years experience in machine production / assembly environment.
• Preferably from semiconductor equipment / general automation background.
• 5 Working day per week
