Senior Quantity Surveyor - QS / Assistant Contract Manager (Tender)

• Basic $4600 to $6800 (Depends on experience)
• Working location: Tai Seng (Company Transport Provided)
• Working hours: 8:30am to 6pm (Monday to Friday)

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of tender estimates, cost plans, and bill of quantities (BQ)
• Analyse tender drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Prepare and compile tender submissions and commercial proposals
• Identify potential risks and opportunities during tender stage

• Develop and review project cost estimates and budgets
• Conduct cost comparisons and benchmarking for industrial developments
• Provide value engineering proposals to optimize cost without compromising quality

• Review tender documents, contracts, and commercial terms
• Support in contract negotiations and award recommendations
• Ensure compliance with company policies and project requirements

• Liaise with consultants, architects, engineers, and internal teams
• Work closely with project, procurement, and design teams during tender stage
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers

• Participate in tender interviews and clarifications
• Prepare tender handover documents to project execution team
• Support project team on cost-related matters when required

Requirements:

• Diploma and/or Degree above in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
• At least 2 years of experience in tendering roles
