Chemical Process Engineer

Job Profile:

Responsible for identifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvements across all terminal operations, with a focus on safety, efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive a culture of operational excellence and support the terminal’s strategic goals.

Ensure the update and upkeep of the Safety Case as one of the License to Operate criteria for Advario Singapore cluster. Please note that this role is a 7 month contract position for a maternity coverage.

Your Tasks:

1. Safety and Compliance

• Follow up on the closure of the agreed actions with MHD in the Improvement Plan for the respective Safety Case in ADHS & ADS / ADSC.
• Lead and engage with different stakeholders in the annual improvement plan in responding to MHD for Safety Case

1. Process Improvement

• Participate in Process Confirmation observation
• Follow up on the action list arising from problem solving and process confirmation.
• To follow up with the relevant stakeholders on the white belt training improvement list so that actions are captured and completed.

1. Drive Operational Performance Management

• Ensure annual AOPS drill completed for all entities in 2026

1. Performance Monitoring

• Pareto analysis report for all terminals. Follow up with the respective terminal for the effectiveness on the focus area / improvement plans
• Customer satisfaction and quality performance scope
• Timely update of Global Ops Excellence performance board for monthly business review dashboard
• Preparing of annual customer satisfaction survey 2026 for all entities

1. Training and Change Management

• Support the CI Manager for developing the yellow belt training material

Your Profile:

• At least a Diploma/ Degree in Engineering/ Chemical Process
• Minimum 3- 5 years of experience in Oil/ Petrochemical

Please note:

• Official Working hours: 830 - 1700, M-F
• Office location is at Jurong Island
• This is a 7 month contract position for a maternity coverage. Completion bonus will be awarded upon completion of contract.
• Lunch is provided while in the terminal and company shuttle bus transport to and from Jurong East
