The Compliance Officer will be responsible for overseeing and managing the regulatory compliance framework for the Fund Manager. You will ensure that the firm, its representatives, and its funds operate in strict adherence to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) regulations, focusing on the Securities and Futures Act (SFA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) standards.
- Regulatory Compliance & MAS Liaison
- Investor Onboarding & KYC/AML
- Counterparty & Trading Compliance
- Risk Framework Compliance
- Fund Documentation & Contract Review
- Internal Controls & Ethics
- Experience: minimum 3 years compliance in financial industry in Singapore.
- Core Skills: Strong understanding of regulation and deal with MAS reporting.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience working at asset management firm will be preferable.
- Market Knowledge: Familiarity with equities markets and trading practices is advantageous
- Personal Qualities: Meticulous, dependable, and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Adaptability: Flexible mindset with willingness to support broader tasks.
- Technical Skills (Good to Have): Proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg terminal experience, and quantitative analysis skills
