Machine operator - Yishun

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Operations Manager, responsible to perform all production activities at various stage. Providing technical assistance to ensure effective and efficient operations of the company. Enforcing Company Policies and Procedures within the office.
• Responsible for handling day to day technical tasks, cut, grind and handle raw materials, test and quality check finished products, stocked in appropriate quantities, assist with stock taking.
• Perform house-keeping and first-level trouble-shooting of equipment as needed, notify Operations Manager of any mechanical or material issues.
• Maintain equipments and area cleaning on regular intervals, comply with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Work on continuous improvement initiatives within Production, comply with the Company’s attendance / tardiness standards.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least GCE ‘N’ Level or equivalent, minimum 4 - 6 years working experience.
• Proven work experience as a Machine Operator, knowledge of terminology, computer literate (MS Office).
• Good Interpersonal skills, with exceptional analytical, able to communicate clearly and concisely, both in written and verbal formats.
• Meeting dfferent expectations, and being able to predict, understand and manage own and others’ emotions is the key part of successful communication.
• Possess good working attitude, reliable, flexible, enthusiastic, helpful and self-motivated.
• Positive, proactive with strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize work, meticulous and attention to details and high accuracy of work, result oriented focus.
• A great problem solver, ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Discretion, integrity and loyalty, coupled with trustworthiness and reliability in all communications regarding the supervisor or the company in handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Multitasking skills, able to meet many deadlines that demand immediate attention. Able to handle multiple tasks and challenges at once.
