Senior Legal Counsel at Qmove

Job description

Open only to Singapore citizens or permanent residents.

Until we finalize the office address, you only need to work remotely from home.

1. Conduct legal and compliance research and design solutions for the platform’s market expansion in target countries, providing professional legal support for business decision-making.
2. Deliver end-to-end legal support for the platform’s business operations, compliance management, corporate governance, and regulatory engagement in target countries.
3. Assist in handling various emergency and reverse incidents, including local labor relations, complex customer complaints, public opinion and unexpected events; provide legal assessment and solutions, and drive process optimization through case reviews.
4. Continuously track and research regulatory and policy updates in target countries, and manage external legal counsel and partners.
5. Draft and review a full range of commercial agreements, platform rules and related contractual documents.
6. Develop and deliver compliance guidelines, conduct compliance training and risk communication for business teams.

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Law from a reputable university, with at least 5 years of relevant legal experience in a major internet platform, top law firm or multinational corporation.
2. Strong interest in technology, innovation and business, with proven ability to independently identify, assess, handle and manage legal and compliance risks for cross-country projects.
3. Fluent in Chinese and English, with English as a working language.
4. Highly self-motivated and proactive, responsible, with good teamwork spirit and resilience under pressure.
