Retail Assistant (Basic & Comm) - Toa Payoh

Job Description:

As a Retail Assistant at Fragrance Foodstuff Pte Ltd, you will be the face of our brand and play a key role in delivering an excellent shopping experience to our customers. You will assist in daily retail operations, including promoting our signature Bak Kwa, ready-to-eat meals, and other festive snacks, while maintaining high standards of service and store presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Introduce and promote our food products, including sampling and upselling
• Handle cashiering duties accurately (POS system training will be provided)
• Replenish and arrange merchandise on display shelves
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the store
• Support in stock-taking and inventory control
• Assist in festive sales preparation and customer gift packing
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Outlet Supervisor or Manager

Requirements:

• Able to work retail hours, weekends, and public holidays
• Positive attitude, team player, and strong customer service skills
• Comfortable handling food products and learning basic product knowledge
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred (to serve Chinese-speaking customers)
• Prior retail or F&B experience is a bonus, but not mandatory
