Manager / Senior Manager (Gaming Governance) 1 Year Contract Up $6K

Working Hours: Mon – Thurs (8.30AM – 6.00PM), Friday (8.30AM – 5.30PM)

Job Description

This is a temporary contract role of Manager or Senior Manager supporting the Gaming Governance team, which oversees a key project on the closure of Singapore Turf Club (STC) and the Singapore Racecourse.

Responsibilities

As part of the Project team, your key tasks will be to:

• Work closely with multiple stakeholders both internal and external (including other government agencies, suppliers and consultants) to coordinate and support key workstreams leading to the closure of STC.
• Support procurement activities, including drafting of requirement specifications and other procurement documents as well as managing the procurement process, including drafting evaluation reports, award of contract, tracking of billing with vendors and budget tracking.
• Perform vendor/consultant management and site inspections/visits at the Singapore Racecourse grounds as and when required.
• Support the development and implementation of any required Policies & Procedures and Guidelines for the various project workstreams.
• Provide administrative and project management support to the Project team, including records keeping, filing, tracking of vendor payments, billing and budgets and monitoring project timelines.
• Coordinate meetings with various stakeholders, including recording meeting notes and monitoring key follow-ups required.
• Provide administrative support to other ad-hoc Tote Board Group-related workstreams

• At least 5 years of relevant working experience
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Team player with strong interpersonal abilities, with a proven ability in working with diverse stakeholder groups
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Preferably prior experience in public sector procurement, including tender management, bid evaluations and presentations
• Preferably prior experience in project management
• Preferably prior experience in contract management
