IT Security Executive - Sembawang

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Cyber Security Operations & IT Infrastructure Specialist. This dual-role position is responsible for safeguarding our digital assets from cyber threats while ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Cyber Security Operations:

• Monitor and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats across systems and networks.
• Develop and implement security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with internal and external security standards.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to manage data protection and privacy obligations.
• Investigate and document security breaches, and coordinate incident response efforts.

IT Infrastructure Management:

• Maintain and optimize servers, networks, storage systems, and cloud environments.
• Ensure high availability and performance of IT systems through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
• Support infrastructure upgrades, patch management, and system migrations.
• Manage backup and disaster recovery processes.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for infrastructure-related issues.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity and IT infrastructure roles.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and tools (e.g., SIEM, endpoint protection).
• Preferably with certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.
• Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud services (e.g. Azure, AWS).
• Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (e.g. PowerShell, Python).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
