Operations Executive - Toa Payoh

The Operations Executive plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of our bunkering operations, focusing on vessel scheduling, daily operations, conflict resolution, and customer relationship management. This position requires a detail-oriented and organized individual with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

The Operations Executive will collaborate closely with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and optimal resource utilization.

What you will be doing:

Data Management:

  • Ensure all data is entered accurately and promptly into the company's systems.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of deliveries, and inventory.

Bunkering Coordination:

  • Coordinate with shipping agents to obtain accurate vessel ETAs.
  • Liaise between charterers and the shipping team to ensure smooth communication and alignment.
  • Address any issues that may arise and mediating the situation

Vessel Scheduling:

  • Efficiently schedule vessels to meet delivery timelines and optimize resource utilization.
  • Coordinate with port authorities, agents, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth vessel operations.

Daily Operations Management:

  • Oversee daily operations, including loading, unloading, and vessel movements.
  • Monitor vessel performance and address any operational challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.

Conflict Resolution:

  • Effectively manage conflicts and disputes related to bunkering operations.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to reach mutually agreeable solutions.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with our bunkering services.

Working Hours:

  • 9AM-6PM Office Hours
  • 24-hour duty, 2-3 times a week, primarily being on standby, not required to be in office.
  • Responsible for providing support and addressing urgent issues.

What we are looking for:

  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and will be provided on the job training
  • Preferably 2+ years of experience in bunkering operations or a similar role.
  • Effective communicator with strong English writing and speaking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experienced in conflict resolution and customer relationship management.
