Associate Director, Finance Advisory - Bukit Merah

Specifically for Finance Advisory, the successful candidate will serve as a solution provider to finance communities, delivering valuable advisory services tailored to client needs. You will lead and manage client engagements, identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for enhanced advisory services while overseeing live projects. Collaborate and contribute to cross-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive service delivery across the Firm on finance & accounting, regulatory, and related activities of CFO/Finance function:

• Lead and manage complex client engagements, delivering tailored finance and accounting advisory solutions to meet client needs.
• Identify and initiate opportunities for improvement by incorporating feedback and research on client business/industry needs
• Oversee multiple concurrent advisory engagements, including finance change initiatives and process reviews, providing strategic financial support to clients.
• Drive transaction-oriented accounting and reporting for mergers, acquisitions, and other complex financial activities, ensuring compliance and effective financial management.
• Collaborate with internal experts to develop innovative, technology-enabled solutions that enhance client outcomes and business processes.
• Stay informed on industry developments, facilitating training sessions to build capabilities within internal teams and clients.
• Utilize project management skills to execute complex projects, ensuring effective communication and delivery of high-quality outputs.
• Assist clients in implementing new financial systems and policies with an emphasis on strong governance, controls, and digital technologies.

We are looking for dynamic individual(s) with:

• A minimum of nine to ten years of experience with a public accounting firm, advisory services firm, or a large multinational organization in leading finance change or corporate accounting, or system reporting
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field; a licensed CPA or CPA equivalent is preferred
• Exceptional analytical and communication skills, with a proven track record in stakeholder management and the ability to effectively engage with senior management and external clients
• Advanced knowledge and practical application of accounting frameworks or topics, i.e. U.S. GAAP, IFRS, business combinations, share options, or financial restatements
• Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with diverse teams, fostering an inclusive environment
• The willingness to take on a role with 20%-40% travel
• A keen interest in and experienced with finance and accounting technologies, with the ability to leverage them for process improvement
• Applicants with experience in insurance will be a plus
