Sales Engineer Job Scope
Responsibilities- Respond promptly and professionally to customertechnical inquiries and requests, providing expert advice and support.
- Offer technical solutions and guidance toArchitects, Consultants, Contractors, and Building Owners to facilitate salesand project success.
- Plan and conduct technical and sales meetingswith customers to secure new business opportunities and meet sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong technical andprofessional relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Develop and implement sales strategies topenetrate new markets and expand the company’s technical footprint.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunitiesby sourcing and qualifying new customer accounts.
- Analyze market trends, industry developments,and competitor activities to stay ahead in technical offerings and marketpositioning.
- Visit customers regularly to support salesefforts, address technical issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Gather project requirements, prepare technicalquotations, tender submissions, and conduct follow-up activities.
- Managekey accounts, nurture long-term relationships, and identify opportunities foraccount growth and new account development.
- Ensuretimely and accurate submission of quotations and proposals in accordance withcompany procedures.
- Takeownership of assigned projects, focusing on must-win projects, and ensuringachievement of sales and revenue targets.
- Understandcustomer business outcomes, provide comprehensive technical solutions, andassist in meeting their project objectives.
- Achievesales and revenue targets set by the company, and actively develop new businessthrough technical product applications and solutions within Singapore.
- Preparedetailed proposals, tenders, and quotations tailored to customer needs; overseeproject execution to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Promoteand demonstrate the company’s technical portfolio to potential clients andsupport the successful launch of new projects.
- Coordinatewith customers and internal teams at all levels to ensure timely projectdelivery and technical support.
- Monitorand report on sales activities, pipeline, and project progress.
- Performadditional duties as assigned to support sales and technical growth.
