Assistant Project Engineer

Job Description

The role also includes providing support across departments for in-house improvements, documentation, and administrative functions.

• Assist in and support the Project Manager, Engineer, or Service Manager with project management, including quotations, scheduling, and site coordination.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and resolve technical or on-site issues.
• Draft project-related drawings and prepare documentation such as Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
• Maintain and update the master list of project drawings and documentation, including ISO/OHSAS records.
• Assist and support the General Manager in developing and implementing in-house improvement projects.
• Provide support to the Administrator as and when required.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and relevant authorities as needed.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, health, and environmental regulations.

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD; experience with Revit is a plus.
• Prior experience in ACMV or reinstatement projects is an advantage.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
• Fast learner who is resourceful, takes initiative, and is proactive.
• Capable of multitasking and working efficiently under pressure.
• Confident, honest, with a positive mindset and high integrity.
• Proficient in English – able to converse, read, and write clearly.
• Willing to travel to various job sites as required.
