Solution Architect (Enterprise & Cloud Transformation)

Role Overview

We are partnering with our client to hire an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and governance of end-to-end system architecture.

This role is critical in ensuring alignment between business requirements, enterprise architecture standards, and technical solutions, particularly within a large-scale system modernisation and cloud transformation environment.

Employment Type: 1-Year Contract

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture design across systems and platforms
• Translate business, functional, and resiliency requirements into scalable technical architecture
• Define architecture blueprints, standards, and solution roadmaps
• Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, secure, and high-performing
• Bridge business needs with technical implementation across multiple stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture principles, standards, and governance
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide oversight on technical design and code quality
• Drive continuous improvement of architecture practices and frameworks
• Maintain clear documentation, architecture artefacts, and design decisions
• Provide governance support, including architecture review reports and recommendations

Technology Landscape

You will play a key role in a transformation journey:

• Current Environment: Sybase databases, Java-based applications
• Target Environment: Microsoft Azure (GCC), Azure SQL, .NET-based applications

This role offers exposure to enterprise-scale cloud migration and application modernisation initiatives.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in solution architecture and system design
• Strong experience designing scalable, distributed, and enterprise-level systems
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure)
• Good understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF or equivalent)
• Experience in system migration, transformation, or modernisation initiatives
• Familiarity with Java and .NET technology ecosystems
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders effectively
