Finance Manager - Bukit Merah

Job Summary

The Finance Manager will work closely with the Operations team, centre leaders, and HQ functions to align financial planning with business needs, while supporting the Group CFO in driving financial governance across the organisation.

• Manage the full spectrum of finance operations including accounting, accounts receivable/payable, payroll, treasury, and cash flow.
• Draft and prepare accurate financial statements and management reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and deadlines.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes; partner with Operations and Centre Leaders to track and monitor financial performance against budgets.
• Review and monitor petty cash and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy, transparency, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance, including GST, corporate tax, and other relevant filings.
• Strengthen and implement internal controls and financial policies across all entities and brands.
• Coordinate annual audits, liaising with external auditors and implementing audit recommendations.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to the Group CFO and senior management to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Supervise and develop finance team members to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency in deliverables.
• Collaborate with Operations and HQ teams to ensure resource allocation, cost control, and financial efficiency.
• Liaise with banks, tax agents, and other external stakeholders as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in finance or accounting, including at least 3 years of audit-related works, ideally within education, services, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and local statutory regulations.
• Hands-on experience in drafting financial statements, petty cash management, and bank reconciliation review.
• Proven leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting systems/ERP and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and commitment to compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with Operations, HQ teams, and senior management.

• Location: On-site at Global Eduhub Headquarters, Singapore
• Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays, 8:30am – 5:30pm

Standard business hours with occasional additional hours as needed during peak reporting or audit periods.

Reporting Line

The Finance Manager reports directly to the Group Chief Financial Officer (Group CFO).
