Get to Know the Role
This Smart Manufacturing System Analytics Engineer role is responsible for leveraging advanced data analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning and digital technologies to optimize manufacturing processes, enhances system performance and drive operational efficiencies.This role bridges the gap between manufacturing operations and IT team by ensuring that manufacturing systems are smart, connected and continuously improving through data-driven insights.
Essential Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in developing and implementing smart manufacturing initiatives including AI/ML applications within the fab
- Integrate data from MES, SPC and Advanced Process Control systems for real-time insights and manufacturing automation
- Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends and anomalies in production, maintenance and inspection processes
- Develop advanced machine learning and statistical models for predictive maintenance, anomaly detection and process optimization
- Build real-time dashboards and alert systems to drive actionable insights for process, equipment and development engineers
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering or data analytics
- Strong Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar for data analysis and model development
- Experience in data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) and dashboarding
- Fluency in deploying machine learning models and statistical analyses in a manufacturing context is a bonus
- Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) and data architecture
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a data-driven mindset
