Job Summary : The Sales Engineer will be responsible for bridging the gap between our engineering team, customer services department, regional front offices and distributors. This role involves working closely with front offices and distributors to understand their technical requirements, demonstrating the capabilities of our products, and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background combined with exceptional communication and sales skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Sales and Technical Support: Assist our front offices and distributors in closing deals by providing technical expertise, answering technical questions, and addressing any obstacles that may arise.
- Solution Development: Collaborate with customers to understand their specific requirements and develop customized solutions that align with their needs.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the functionality and benefits of our products.
- Proposal Preparation: Prepare detailed technical proposals, including specifications, pricing, and scope of work. Work with the support team to develop compelling value propositions.
- Sales Interaction: Engage directly with front offices & distributors. Manage inquiries and pipeline via CRM system and follow up on quotations and leads generated by the sales team or marketing.
- Market Feedback: Collect and relay feedback from customers to the product development team to help improve and refine products based on market needs.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Any ad hoc tasks assigned by Management
Qualifications:
- Education: Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience: Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience in a B2B role. Fresh grads are welcome.
- Skills: Exhibits keen interest in technical knowledge of related products and technology. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft tools is a must.
- Knowledge: Understanding of sales processes and techniques. Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide solutions that meet customer needs.
