What you'll be doing?- Lead tender processes: Prepare and submit mechanical services tenders, reviewing technical specifications, cost estimates, and project timelines.
- Manage project lifecycle: Take charge of mechanical services tenders from initial stages through pre-contract and post-contract administration duties.
- Provide technical expertise: Conduct detailed evaluations, ensure compliance with project requirements, and offer valuable insights during tender evaluations.
- Develop innovative solutions: Suggest value engineering solutions for mechanical services, enhancing project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with stakeholders: Liaise with consultants, attend site visits, and participate in tender briefings and meetings.
- Drive team success: Plan and execute strategies with the tender team to achieve key performance indicators.
- Contribute to project planning: Assist in creating project write-ups, manpower histograms, and project schedules using Microsoft Project software.
- Ensure technical accuracy: Provide calculations in hydraulics, pump head, static pressure, and heat load, and review technical submissions for compliance.
- Educational background: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services, with knowledge in Design & Build and ability to conduct engineering design and calculations.
- Professional certification: Candidates registered as Professional Engineers with the PE Board are highly valued.
- Relevant experience: 8-10 years of working experience in the Mechanical Services field, demonstrating growth and expertise.
- Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of M&E works, Green Mark requirements, planning capabilities, and familiarity with authorities and statutory compliance.
- Software proficiency: Skilled in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project, enhancing your ability to manage and present information effectively.
