Bedok - Network Security Engineer

• Developing and implementing network security strategies and policies to safeguard our IT infrastructure
• Configuring and managing firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security devices
• Performing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security risks
• Monitoring and analysing network traffic to detect and respond to security incidents
• Collaborating with the IT team to ensure seamless integration of security solutions with existing systems
• Providing technical support and training to end-users on security best practices
• Staying up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies

• Minimum 1 year of experience in network security engineering or a related field
• Strong understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and industry standards
• Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls, VPNs, and other network security devices
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring and security analytics tools
• Familiarity with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, CISSP, or GIAC, are a plus
