Compliance Manager (West - Manufacturing) - Geylang

The Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring the organization's operations comply with all relevant local regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. This role involves conducting risk assessments, developing and implementing compliance frameworks, performing audits, and managing contractual obligations to maintain regulatory and operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Singaporean laws and regulations, including workplace safety, environmental standards, and industry-specific requirements.
• Monitor regulatory updates and assess their impact on company operations.
• Identify and mitigate compliance risks in manufacturing, supply chains, and employee practices.
• Develop and implement internal compliance policies and training programs.
• Conduct internal audits and investigations; recommend and oversee corrective actions.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, internal stakeholders, and external auditors.
• Manage certifications and accreditations (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001).
• Oversee contract compliance, including review, negotiation, and administration of supplier agreements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in compliance roles within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore regulatory frameworks and international standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.).
• Relevant certifications such as CAMS, CCEP, CQA, ICA, or Lean/Six Sigma are advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Experience managing audits, risk assessments, and compliance training programs.
