The Human Systems (HS) Division strengthens Singapore’s defence by developing capabilities in Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear defence, human factor engineering, and behavioural science. Computational Chemist
In this role, you will conduct R&D to exploit computational chemistry to solve or hasten development of technical solutions for CBRN defence. This can include performing calculations to assess chemical properties, chemical reactions and protein-ligand interactions; and exploring new frontiers to hasten or improve such calculations with e.g. machine learning or quantum computing.
JOB REQUIREMENTS- Degree/ Masters/ PhD in Chemistry, Chemistry & Biological Chemistry
- Basic coding language such as python
- Experience in Machine Learning
- Strong foundation in chemistry
- Double major in computer science or data analytics will be a major advantage
- Possess good communication skill. Able to work individually and as a team
