Senior Data Scientist (Cybersecurity)
Contract Duration: 2025 – 2027Location: Pasir Panjang
Overview:Seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join a cybersecurity team, focusing on detecting and preventing unauthorised privileged access. Role involves applying advanced ML techniques, building detection models, and delivering production-ready solutions in collaboration with cybersecurity and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy ML models for anomaly detection and behavioural analytics.
- Monitor and improve detection accuracy, reducing false positives.
- Work with engineers to operationalize detection models at scale.
- Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead project planning and mentor team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics.
- 5+ years in Data Science/ML, ideally in cybersecurity or fraud detection.
- Strong in anomaly detection, behavioural analytics, classification models.
- Proficient in Python, R, and ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with large-scale datasets, data pipelines, and cloud environments.
- Familiarity with privileged access management and threat detection.
