Safety Coordinator - Tampines

Roles & Responsibilities

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Supervise fieldwork to ensure safety compliance for all staff and subcontractors.
• Liaise with site operations on safety and health issues.
• Maintain records of safety orientation and daily toolbox meetings.
• Assist in implementing the company's safety management system.
• Investigate complaints and recommend actions.
• Report safety violations to management.
• Conduct daily site inspections for safety compliance.
• Carry out regular site safety inspections and enforce compliance.
• Review and endorse Risk Assessments.
• Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate workplace accidents and injuries.
• Assist in preparing safety-related reports and documents.
• Support in-house safety training programs.
• Recommend and implement actions to improve safety and efficiency.
• Conduct site inspections, attend coordination meetings, and provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health regulations and company policies
• Assist in resolving on-site technical issues and reporting any delays or discrepancies
• Manage and maintain documentation, including site reports, drawings, and work schedules
• Support the handover process and ensure customer satisfaction upon project completion
• Handle ordering of materials and monitor delivery schedules to avoid project delays

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid WSHO/Level B Safety Coordinator certificate.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in site coordination, project supervision, or related field and Construction Industry.
• Relevant supervisory course certifications (e.g., WAH, Confined Space) are a plus.
• Candidates should be dynamic, self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
• Preparedness to respond to emergencies when necessary.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
