Description and Requirements
Role Overview: IT Security Officer (ITSO)
You will:- Manage daily operational IT security activities including:
- Security operations (hands-on)
- Vulnerability Management System (VMS)
- Incident response
- Security documentation and reportingKey Duties:
- Conduct routine system checks
- Respond promptly to security alerts
- Apply and validate security patches
- Perform log monitoring
- Support security incident triage and response
- Cannot be the same individual as the ITSM (IT Service Manager).
- May assist in forensic investigations, but not responsible for leading them.
- Responsible for technical enforcement and ensuring operational compliance with contractual and policy requirements.
- Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in IT security governance and operations.
- Must possess one of the following certifications:
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- GIAC (Global Information Assurance Certification)
- Or equivalent industry-recognized certification
- Must be a full-time dedicated resource under this contract:
- Not permitted to undertake any operational duties in ATFMSI or Customer IT Infrastructure.
- Must be available 24/7, including weekends and public holidays, for escalations.
- Exclusively responsible for security incident handling.
