Assistant/ Audio Visual Manager

We are looking for an Assistant / Audio Visual Manager. You will play a pivotal role in leading and managing all audio‑visual (AV) operations across banquet and hotel events, ensuring seamless technical delivery, operational excellence, and an exceptional guest experience.

Job Description:

• Lead and manage all audio‑visual (AV) operations across multiple concurrent banquet and hotel events
• Plan, set up, test, and execute AV requirements in accordance with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and event specifications
• Manage manpower deployment to ensure efficient operations and high service standards
• Oversee AV equipment maintenance, inventory control, and lifecycle management
• Establish and follow operating standards, procedures, and contingency plans
• Coordinate closely with Banquet Operations, Sales, clients, and external vendors for seamless event delivery
• Manage AV operating costs within budget and optimise labour and equipment utilisation
• Minimise equipment loss, damage, and wastage to protect profitability
• Ensure high‑quality, defect‑free AV delivery that meets guest expectations
• Respond promptly to technical issues during events to minimise disruption
• Lead, coach, and develop the AV team through effective scheduling, training, and on‑the‑job guidance
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and service excellence aligned with Pan Pacific Hotels Group values

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Audio Visual Technology, Engineering, Event Management, Hospitality, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in audio-visual operations, preferably within a hotel, convention center, or large‑scale event environment
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with Banquet Operations, Sales, clients, and external vendors
• Lead, coach, and develop the AV team through effective scheduling, training, and on‑the‑job guidance
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and service excellence aligned with Pan Pacific Hotels Group values
