Trade Finance Executive (Accounts Receivable)

Location: Singapore

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Executive to join our Finance team in Singapore. This role offers the opportunity to be an integral part of our cash flow management and financial operations, while collaborating closely with internal teams and international stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and send daily incoming funds reports for both bulk and container transactions.
• Maintain comprehensive accounts receivable reports, including aging schedules, cash flow forecasts, and other key financial metrics for management review.
• Coordinate with internal departments on the status of export negotiations and the dispatch of export documents.
• Liaise with banks to ensure timely crediting of funds as per value dates.
• Engage with customers and banks to follow up on overdue payments via phone and email, ensuring outstanding balances are cleared promptly.
• Support other team members and assist with ad hoc tasks or duties during team members’ absence.
• Collaborate effectively with Trade Finance and cross-functional teams to foster a cohesive working environment.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Treasury, or Trade Finance.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
