English Teacher - Geylang
About the role
We are seeking a secondary school level English Teacher to join our team at Ruisheng Education Centre (3 mins walk from Clarke Quay MRT). This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work with dedicated students and colleagues in a dynamic and supportive learning environment.
What you'll be doing- Delivering engaging and effective lessons in your subject area to secondary school students
- Developing and implementing creative lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning needs
- Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborating with fellow teachers to share best practices and continuously improve teaching methods
- Participating in staff meetings, professional development activities, and other school initiatives
- Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages student participation and growth
- Bachelor's degree in English or a relevant subject area
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience at the secondary school level
- Able to work both weekends 9am to 6pm and Mon to Wed 10am to 7pm (rest days on Thursday and Friday)
- Strong subject matter expertise and a passion for teaching and learning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet the diverse needs of students
