Deputy Director / Assistant Director - Toa Payoh

Job Description:

A chain of preschools under ECDA’s Partner Operator Scheme is seeking a Deputy Director / Assistant Director to oversee operations and business development, ensuring high-quality service delivery across multiple centers and sustainability of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple centers via Cluster Managers & Centre Principals, ensuring smooth execution of programs and adherence to quality standards, regulatory compliance, and administrative processes.
• Cluster Management: Provide guidance and mentorship to Cluster Managers and Center Principals, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency across centers.
• Strategic Planning & Implementation: Develop and implement business and operational strategies to drive growth, optimize resource allocation, and enhance customer experience. This includes the preparation of financial budget and the close monitoring of the achievement.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, educators, and business partners to enhance the reputation and branding of the business.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all centers comply with government regulations and uphold the highest standards of safety (especially for children), curriculum delivery, and student well-being.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Early Childhood Education management, operations, or a related field.
• Experience as a Cluster Principal, Cluster Lead, or similar multi-center leadership role is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to open and scale new centers, handling operational and regulatory requirements.
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent understanding of preschool and enrichment market in Singapore.
