As an intern, you'll be involved in supporting investment activities across the deal evaluation and execution process, working closely with experienced investment professionals.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to build a strong foundation in financial analysis, investment thinking, and market research while learning how capital solutions are structured and deployed. How You Succeed You'll succeed in this role if you're curious about investment decision-making, comfortable working with financial data, and eager to learn through hands-on involvement.
You're analytical, organised, and able to communicate ideas clearly through both numbers and presentation materials. Taking initiative and being dependable will allow you to contribute meaningfully to the team's work. What You Do Your responsibilities will include: Investment Process Support: Assist the investment team across different stages of the investment process, from initial screening to review Research & Analysis: Conduct market research and financial analysis to support investment evaluation Investment Materials: Help prepare investment memos, reviews, and supporting presentation materials Financial Modelling: Support basic financial modelling and analysis as required Team & Operational Support: Provide general operational and administrative support to the team Who You Work With The Mezzanine Capital Unit operates within Global Investment Banking and focuses on structured capital and investment opportunities.
You'll work closely with investment professionals in a lean, collaborative environment that values rigour, clarity of thinking, and continuous learning through practical exposure. Who You Are Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree Strong interest in investments, corporate finance, or banking Comfortable working with financial models and data Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel Detail-oriented, organised, and willing to learn Able to work well independently and within a small team Learning Objectives This internship will provide you with: Insights into the end-to-end investment process Hands-on experience in financial analysis and market research Exposure to preparation of professional investment memos and presentations Opportunities to build practical modelling and analytical skills Experience working closely with an investment-focused team What we offer: Competitive base salary.
