Job Summary

This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes and regulations in Singapore.

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Monitor work progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Enforce strict adherence to all safety regulations, policies, and procedures on site, conducting regular safety briefings and inspections.
• Manage and motivate site personnel, including subcontractors and general workers, fostering a productive and safe working environment.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all work meets the required standards and specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, including resource utilization, safety incidents, and quality issues.
• Oversee the proper handling, storage, and maintenance of construction materials and equipment.
• Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to the site.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges on site.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Singaporean building codes, regulations, and environmental standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Possession of relevant safety certifications (e.g., WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health, Construction Safety Orientation Course for Supervisors).

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry in Singapore.
• Demonstrated experience in managing various types of construction projects (e.g., residential, commercial, infrastructure).
• Familiarity with local construction practices, regulations, and safety standards (e.g., WSH Act).

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
• Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
