Associate Engineer, Field Service CFA (Mechanical)

SUMMARY

The role will be part of the Clean Factory Automation engineering team primarily responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our cleanroom automated material handling systems (AMHS).

The role will report to the project site for most of their working hours.

• Install, test, and calibrate our AMHS equipment in the initial phase of a project.
• Carry out regular inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance after the project’s initial phase.
• Perform troubleshooting and recovery tasks to minimize the downtime of our AMHS.
• Liaise with customers to arrange schedules for jobs and update customers on work progress.
• Supervise work done by sub-contractors for installation and mechanical modifications.
• The role may require overtime working hours (within the regulation).
• The role includes scheduled standby duties for some days in a month.

• Minimum ITE Diploma in Engineering-related discipline.
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and at heights.
• A good team player with a positive work attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Ability to grasp current work situation and plan to keep pace with the schedule.
• On-the-job training provided. No experience is required.
• Some experience with AMHS equipment is a huge plus.

• Possesses good communication skills and teamwork.
• Can be relied upon to complete tasks without constant supervision.
• Able to manage duties and work under stress during busy periods.
• Ability to diagnose technical problems arising from mechanical equipment.
