0731 - Administrator (Shipping Import / Export) - Bukit Merah

Role:

• Working Days: Monday – Friday
• Working Hours: 8 am – 5 pm (OT is require during peak period)
• $2,600 - $3,200
• (One way transport provided at Jurong East MRT)

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support for shipping projects such as order processing, preparation of shipping documents, invoices, import / export documents, etc
• Conduct scheduling and coordination of all administrative and logistical related matters
• Deal with quotes from prospective shippers and handle claims with insurance companies if any shipment problems happen to occur
• Generate invoices, delivery order and shipping documentation including Certificate of Origin / Beneficiary’s certificate & LC documents
• Coordinate to ensure smooth shipment and timely cargo collection
• Liaise with forwarders and supplier on import / direct shipment arrangement
• Follow up on export shipment documentation, customer payment, release credit limit block
• Perform stock count and maintain good inventory record
• Handle permit declaration via TradeNet
• Other duties as assigned

Requirement:

• Minimum 2 - 3 years’ in shipping
• Preferably with experience in import / export, Tradenet and knowledge in customs regulations
• Letter of Credit knowledge
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
