Roles and Responsibilities

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a dedicated Indoor Sales Support Cum Telemarketer to prospect and generating new sales leads through cold calling and networking.

Job Description:

• Prospecting and generating new sales leads through cold calling and networking.
• Securing of appointments with target companies.
• Providing excellent customer service and responding to customer inquiries.
• Gathering information and sharing of customer’s feedback with the wider team.
• Coordinate with sales to assist on pricing with local or overseas vendor to obtain accurate rates.
• Prepare freight quotations for air, sea and land shipments based on customer requirements.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties / target sector as assigned.

Requirements:

• Min. 1 - 2 years in Logistics/Freight Forwarding industry (sales support / customer service preferred)
• Knowledge of air freight, ocean freight (FCL/LCL) and shipping incoterms is an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
• Excellent negotiation and closing skills with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
• Good coordination skills and attention to details.
• Resilience and the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Able to start immediate or within short notice.
