Job Role Summary
We are seeking a commercially driven and strategic Assistant Key Account Manager to lead and manage key e-commerce grocery platforms in Singapore – RedMart, Shopee Supermarket, Pandamart, and Amazon Fresh. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong partnerships, and executing joint business plans that maximize our brand presence and performance in the online grocery channel.
- Manage trade A&P budget effectively to support business growth, ensuring alignment with company targets for both revenue (top-line) and profitability (bottom-line).
 - Conduct in-depth analysis of market conditions and the competitive landscape within the retail sector to inform strategic decisions.
 - Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business performance and achieve key objectives.
 - Monitor competitive activity and formulate proactive strategies to defend and maintain a competitive edge.
 
Area of Responsibility
Account Ownership & Strategy:
- Own and manage end-to-end relationships with RedMart, Shopee Supermarket, Pandamart, and Amazon Fresh.
 - Develop and execute tailored Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and annual strategies per account to meet revenue and growth objectives.
 - Identify new opportunities to drive share of shelf, visibility, and conversion across platforms.
 
Commercial Management & Forecasting:
- Lead annual and quarterly negotiations including trading terms, promo funding, pricing, and visibility packages.
 - Monitor, analyze, and optimize key account P&L to deliver on margin and profitability targets.
 - Responsible for channel account receivables. Monitor AR aging and coordinate with credit control and AR team.
 - Forecast sales and work closely with supply chain teams to ensure healthy stock levels and service levels.
 
- Plan and execute platform-specific monthly and high low promotional calendars (e.g. 9.9, 11.11, payday sales).
 - Coordinate with internal marketing and trade teams to deliver best-in-class monthly campaigns.
 - Monitor ROI and campaign effectiveness, using data insights to improve future executions.
 
- Track and report on sales performance, campaign results, and key metrics such as GMV, basket size, conversion rates, and out-of-stock rates.
 - Use data and shopper insights to recommend strategies to drive assortment, pricing, and shopper engagement.
 
- Work closely with internal teams including marketing, trade, supply chain, finance, and digital teams.
 - Act as the key liaison between platform category managers and internal
 - stakeholders to drive alignment and execution.
 
Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
 - 3–6 years of experience in key account management, e-commerce, FMCG, or digital retail, preferably with experience managing top online grocery platforms.
 - Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
 - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; proficiency in Excel and data tools is a plus.
 - Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders.
 - Hands-on, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced digital environment.
 - Familiarity with Singapore's e-commerce landscape and promotional calendar.
 - Prior experience working with or managing RedMart, Shopee, Amazon Fresh, or Pandamart accounts.
