Role Description

We are looking for a Customer Service Executive in SH Cogent Logistics Pte Ltd. The Customer Service Executive will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as inventory control, customer service, and order processing.

Responsibilities
  • Attend to customer's enquiries and liaise with customers to ensure that all the job requirements of the orders give are captured
  • Perform trucking job creation
  • Communicate customers' requirements to Operations for their execution
  • Monitor job and provide timely updates for shipment, including updating of container details into system
  • Advise customers on delivery schedule / inventory
  • Maintain inventory report and undertake monthly closing of accounts
  • Responsible for all documentation and administration duties
  • Monitor progress of job order and shipments adhering to deadlines or specific dates
  • Maintain business relationship with customers and responsible for customer management on a higher level
  • Communicate and coordinate with the appointed third-parties in relation to job orders
  • Assist in all aspects of accounts receivables process including billing, invoices, issuance of debit notes and credit notes
  • Ensure all billings accurals and payments are made on time and generate invoices for posting to cusomters
  • Maintain billing system data integrity
  • Responsible to enure proper documentation and filling of invoice and job sheet
  • Accountable for accuracy and precision of billing processes to customers
  • Train and guide customer service officers
  • Maintain networking with other departments with relating to executing of job orders
  • Assist in permit declaration for job orders when required or when necessary
  • Responsible to feedback customer complaints to Customer Service respective team assistant managers / managers and assist with the findings and reporting
  • Any other duties and responsibilites assigned from time to time
Qualifications
  • Degree or Diploma in logistics and supply chain management, or equivalent qualifications preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems software is an advantage
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Knowledge and experience in shipping, logistics, and warehousing operations is also a plus
  • Able to perform overtime when necessary

  • Working hours: Mon to Fri: 8.30am - 5.45pm; Alternate Saturday: 8.30am - 12.30pm
