Bukit Batok - Environmental Control Officer/ ECMO

Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor the Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (ESCP) in accordance with PUB’s Code of Practice.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential non-compliance or environmental risks.
• Submit monthly ECMO Inspection Reports with photographic evidence to the Qualified Erosion Control Professional (QECP) and site team.
• Advise on corrective and preventive measures related to earth control and water runoff.
• Ensure the site complies with PUB, NEA, and BCA environmental control regulations.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure proper maintenance of silt fences, treatment systems, sedimentation basins, and other ECMS.
• Attend site meetings, briefings, and audits when required by authorities.
• Keep updated with regulatory changes and ensure site practices reflect current standards.

Requirements:

• Certified Earth Control Measure Officer (ECMO) by IES or an approved training provider
• Minimum 2 years of experience in erosion and sediment control at construction sites.
• Familiarity with Erosion and Sediment Control Plans (ESCP) and relevant documentation.
• Ability to work independently with multiple stakeholders (QECP, Safety Officer, Site Manager).
• Strong documentation, observation, and reporting skills.
• Must be able to travel to assigned site(s) regularly.
