Core responsibilities
  • Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including managing accounts payable and receivable, and processing invoices and payments.
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Analyze financial data, prepare financial statements, and present reports to management for decision-making.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets for the organization.
  • Compliance and Auditing: Ensure all financial activities comply with accounting principles, laws, and regulations. Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Transaction Review: Review and validate financial transactions, and perform checks to prevent fraud.
  • Other Duties: Perform general accounting tasks, prepare tax returns, and collaborate with other departments and external auditors.
Required skills and qualifications
  • Education: A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is typically required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and good communication skills are essential.
  • Experience: Experience in an accounting-related role is often necessary, though the required amount can vary.
