Network Engineer (Meraki & AWS) - Toa Payoh

• Responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation and maintenance of our network infrastructure, with a primary focus on our JDM spaces
• Network Maintenance and Support: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal network performance, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Incident Response: Respond promptly to network incidents, assess the situation, and implement effective mitigation techniques to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.
• User Support: Provide exceptional support to users experiencing network-related issues, listening to their concerns, and taking necessary steps to resolve problems efficiently and effectively.
• Project Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute network-related tasks as part of larger projects, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to existing systems.

Requirements:

• Network engineer with 1 - 2 years of experience in managing and maintaining complex, large-scale network infrastructure, providing expertise in network operations to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with Layer 2 protocols and enhancements (LACP, L2 ECMP, 802.1d/w/s, 802.1x)
• In-depth knowledge of Layer 3 protocols (IPv4/v6, TCP, UDP) and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP, MPLS) with at least 1+ year of experience
• Proficiency in stateful firewalls, non-stateful filtering and packet inspection with 1+ year of experience
• Good to have: Experience in managing AWS network services, such as VPCs, subnets, route tables security groups, and CloudWAN
• Proficient in Meraki and Juniper products
