The Interior Fit-Out Designer is responsible for developing design concepts, preparing drawings, and coordinating interior fit-out works for commercial and hospitality spaces. The role involves working closely with project managers, clients, and contractors to ensure design intent is implemented according to project requirements, timelines, and budgets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop interior design concepts and space planning for fit-out projects.
- Prepare design drawings including layout plans, elevations, sections, and detail drawings.
- Produce 3D visualizations and presentations for client approval.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers during design and execution stages.
- Prepare material boards, finishes selection, and specifications.
- Ensure designs comply with building regulations, safety standards, and client requirements.
- Review and revise drawings based on client feedback and site conditions.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design implementation aligns with drawings.
- Assist in preparing tender documents and technical drawings.
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in interior fit-out or interior design projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, or similar.
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, and construction details for interior fit-out.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
