Assistant Project Manager - Toa Payoh

As Assistant Project Manager, you will assist in various activities including project programmes, projects, and project teams with Project Managers and develop project protocols plus deliver projects on time, to budget and to the required quality levels expected by the Currie & Brown and our Clients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Project Managers with general administration, communication and reporting
- Actively participate in Currie & Brown internal forums, training and social events
- Promote the Currie & Brown values at all times
- A good understanding of contracts, a commercial approach to letting tenders and an ability to negotiate with contractors and suppliers
- Continually seek and capitalize upon opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
- Provide administration support for the management of day-to-day client interaction and expectations for multiple projects
- Communicate effectively with clients
- Develop lasting relationships with client personnel that foster strong client ties relationships
- Contribute to team effort as well as individual tasks
- Demonstrate energy and enthusiasm
- Have a positive, ‘can do’ attitude
- Actively seek and utilise feedback to improve personal performance
- Prepared to be flexible where possible in role & team contribution.
- Understanding of the critical success factors in the profession of project management, construction management and contract administration of building projects, as it affects our clients and the Currie & Brown
- Understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC system with regular project audits
