Quantity Surveyor ( Construction) - Choa Chu Kang

We are currently seeking a highly competent and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in cost management and contract administration for our construction projects. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in quantity surveying and a deep understanding of the building industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full spectrum of quantity surveying duties from pre- to post-contract phases.
• Prepare and review tender documents, bills of quantities, and cost estimates.
• Conduct cost analysis and risk management.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare recommendations for award.
• Monitor project budgets, manage variations, and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site valuations and certify progress payments.
• Prepare final accounts and project close-out documentation.
• Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying within the building and construction sector.
• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and building regulations.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and relevant QS software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, or similar).
• Able to work independently with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
