About the Role
In this role, you will lead and support the planning, execution, and budget management of regional marketing activities—including exhibitions, conferences, customer engagement events, and the Hioki Community. You’ll collaborate closely with teams from Japan, Southeast Asia, China, Korea, USA, Europe and other international offices to enhance Hioki’s presence and brand in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing events (e.g. trade shows, conferences, webinars)
- Manage event budgets, vendor quotations, and post-event reporting
- Support the development and expansion of the Hioki Community user engagement platform
- Work closely with international colleagues from Japan, Southeast Asia, and global markets
- Translate and localize marketing materials, speeches, video subtitles, and digital content in both English and Japanese
- Support branding and content creation for global initiatives
- Prepare internal and external communications to align with Hioki’s global brand direction
- Travel occasionally to Japan and other countries for event support and coordination
- Fluent in Japanese and English (spoken and written) – required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing communications, PR, or event management
- Strong coordination and communication skills to work with diverse teams across borders
- Experience in managing project budgets and working with vendors or external agencies
- Independent, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple timelines and stakeholders
- Open to international travel (estimated 2–4 times/year)
- Experience in B2B technology, electrical, or manufacturing industries
- Familiar with tools like Canva, Illustrator, PowerPoint, and basic video editing software
- Experience in hosting or supporting bilingual events is a plus
