IT Application Engineer - Part Time

The IT Application Engineer will ensure the efficient functioning of enterprise applications, provide support for various platforms (including database management, UiPath RPA, SharePoint, MS Teams), manage vendor relationships, assist with audits, and document standard operating procedures (SOPs).

The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally to enhance the business processes, maintain system integrity, and ensure that business and IT requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Gather Debt Management System (DMS)enhancement requests, work with vendor on feasibility, initiate enhancement request, perform SIT testing, conduct UAT testing, and migration of programs to production system.
2. For in-house development, create or modify Crystal Report, VBA or PowerShell scripts, according to requirement specifications.
3. Maintain and support all in-house built applications, programs and reports; vendor’s applications, tools or subscription services, such as DMS, DMS web, Survey Monkey, SMS Dome, Google Forms, and corporate web. Responsible to maintain SLA with vendors and users.
4. Execute DMS monthly batch job. Ensure daily and monthly backups are successfully completed.
5. Manage new DMS version release, by performing testings, and obtain users’ signoff before releasing to production. Train users to use the upgraded features or functionalities.
6. Run SQL queries for troubleshooting, investigation, information gathering or for statistics purposes.
7. Administer user logon IDs, and access profiles and permissions in applications. Resigned staff’s account to be removed immediately after office hours, on the day. Periodic review to ensure all IDs, profiles or permissions granted are valid and applicable.
8. Involve in projects or initiatives requiring new application development or significant enhancement to existing systems.
9. Weekly extraction of Counselling survey records for C&P. Run Call Agent report on monthly basis for C&P and DSS.
10. Documentation of procedures, guidelines and standards relating to application and support. Conduct annual reviews to ensure they are valid and applicable.
11. Attend any other ad-hoc assignment when needed.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of SQL and database querying
• Experience with scripting (VBA, PowerShell)
• Familiarity with reporting tools (e.g. Crystal Reports, UiPath)
• Understanding of system testing (SIT/UAT) and deployment processes
• Good stakeholder communication and coordination skills

• Experience in application support and development
• Exposure to vendor management and SLA tracking
• Familiarity with enterprise systems(e.g., DMS or similar platforms)
