Junior IT Project Manager - Toa Payoh

Havas Singapore is looking for a Junior IT Project Manager to provide end-to-end project coordination and support for IT infrastructure initiatives and projects.

Responsibilities:

• Project Coordination & Support: Assist Senior Project Managers in all phases of the project lifecycle, from kickoff to closure, on larger, more complex IT infrastructure projects.
• Project Management: Independently manage smaller, well-defined projects (e.g., standard server deployments, hardware refreshes) under the guidance of a senior team member.
• Planning & Scheduling: Assist in creating and maintaining project plans, schedules, and task lists. Proactively coordinate with the Resource Coordinator to ensure engineering resources are scheduled effectively for non-consecutive workdays based on client availability.
• Task & Progress Tracking: Diligently track the status of assigned tasks across multiple concurrent projects, providing regular updates to Project Managers and stakeholders.
• Documentation & Knowledge Management: Maintain all project-related documentation, including meeting minutes, risk registers, and status reports. Contribute to and utilize our central Knowledge Base to ensure project information is accurate and accessible.
• Communication & Reporting: Serve as a key point of contact for routine project communications. Assist in preparing draft status reports and project updates for both internal and client review.
• Risk & Issue Identification: Proactively identify and track potential project risks and issues, escalating them to the Senior Project Manager as needed and documenting them in the project log.
• Team & Client Coordination: Facilitate communication between the delivery team (engineers), clients, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity. Assist in scheduling workshops, review meetings, and client check-ins.

Requirements:

• A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a project coordination or junior project management role, preferably within the IT industry.
• Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills, with a proven ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with both technical team members and clients.
• A proactive, detail-oriented, and problem-solving mindset.
• A strong aptitude and genuine desire to learn about IT infrastructure concepts (servers, storage, virtualization).
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
