Medical Laboratory Technologist (Research)

POSITION SUMMARY:

A Medical Laboratory Technologist I (Research) is responsible for performing complex laboratory tests and

analyses on biological samples within a research setting, utilizing advanced techniques to contribute to

scientific discovery and development of new diagnostic tools or treatments, while adhering to strict quality

control measures and maintaining detailed records of research findings.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct spatial genomics experiments and/or clinical genetic tests using state-of-the-art

• Collaborate with the research team to design and execute experiments.
• Keep detailed records of experiments and results.
• Receive, examine and perform laboratory testing on clinical specimens and report the results

• Perform quality control, validation, and other activities to verify the performance of clinical

• Ensure sufficiency and diligently keep records of laboratory inventories, including usage,

• Ensure all lab instruments are maintained as per scheduled PPM dates and raise any instrument

• Attend technical enquiries from other departments, PAH entities or customers regarding lab

• Stay updated on the latest developments in molecular genetics and spatial genomics.
• Any responsibilities/tasks assigned by immediate superior or management.
