IT Infrastructure Engineer (EAST)

Our client, is looking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join their team.
This position will be working on maintenance project and be based at our client's office in the east area of Singapore.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for configuration, maintenance and upgrading of servers, networks and related hardware and software
- Perform asset management and maintain accurate asset records
- Perform day-to-day IT infrastructure health and security monitoring and checks
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and network related issues
- Perform change management control, and ensure changes are trackable and properly documented
- Respond to service requests and incidents to provide timely and effective resolutions
- Work with service providers/vendors to ensure SLAs are met
- Automate tasks with basic Bash/PowerShell scripting and high-level programming languages such as Python/Perl
- Provide support in the provisioning of IT infrastructure-related projects and other ad-hoc duties as assigned
- At least Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, with experience in working in SI firms
- Has following relevant skillsets: Windows Server, Redhat Server / Windows Hyper-V, VMware, Nutanix/ Cisco Networking, Aruba Networking, Dell / HPE Networking / NetBackup, Veeam, Cohesity / Hitachi HDS, Pure Storage, HPE, Dell EMC
- Proficient in troubleshoot IT issues through log analysis, and tracing through steps
- Able to work independently
- Team Player
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and tools for continuous improvement of systems and processes
This role requires individual to clear CAT 1 due to the nature of the project.
