The Role:
We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager to oversee group consolidation, financial reporting, and finance operations for the Property & Investment Holdings segment. The role will work closely with internal stakeholders, external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and continuous process improvements across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for both company and group entities, including group consolidation.
- Prepare management reports, financial analysis, and meaningful insights to support business and strategic decision-making.
- Ensure timely and accurate statutory reporting in compliance with IFRS and Singapore regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities on audit, tax, and compliance matters.
- Support finance-related corporate matters, including banking, treasury, and corporate secretarial activities.
- Lead and oversee the finance function for the Property business segment.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop finance team members, including reviewing work, managing performance, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Review tenancy agreements in collaboration with the leasing team to ensure commercial and financial accuracy.
- Conduct credit assessments and reviews of tenants to evaluate financial risk exposure.
- Liaise with IRAS on property tax, stamp duty, and related tax matters.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting policies, statutory requirements, and governance standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, streamline workflows, and enhance operational efficiency while safeguarding data integrity.
- Participate in finance transformation and cross-functional projects as assigned.
- Support ad hoc assignments and initiatives from time to time.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA/CA qualification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, group consolidation, and property-related finance operations.
- Prior experience managing and leading a finance team, with demonstrated people management and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Singapore tax and statutory requirements.
- Experience in property management, investment holding, or real estate-related industries will be advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Meticulous, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
