About the role
A Level II Inspector conducts inspection activities in accordance with the ICO Quality Management System, maintaining integrity, impartiality and confidentiality throughout the inspection process.
Key responsibilities- Abide to ICO Quality Management System
- Maintain integrity, impartiality and confidentiality of inspection process
- Conduct Tool box Talk and check the working condition of PPE for each crew member
- Review the Work Order and communicate with the Customer / ICO Supervisor to bridge the gaps, if any
- Check working condition and calibration validity of TMME (Testing Measuring and Monitoring Equipment)
- Set up and standardize / verify the TMME (Testing Measuring and Monitoring Equipment)
- Check working condition of grinders and other non-calibrated equipment
- Conduct checks for inspection parameters and document these in the Daily Activity Log
- Perform cleaning, inspection and marking of the tools as per the Work Order
- Interpret, evaluate and document result of the inspection in ICO / Customer provided templates
- Report the data / results as observed during the inspection
- Proof read the final report and authenticate the reported data by signing the report
- Submit error-free inspection reports within 48 hours after completing the inspection
- Ensure safe conduct of the crew members
- Communicate with the Customer about incomplete Work Order, customer supplied procedures, drawings, etc. required during inspection process
- Inform ICO Supervisor when new / revised procedure is shared by the Customer
- Handover to the new inspector when existing crew is replaced
Qualification Requirements -
ISO 9712 / PCN NDT Level II in MT and PT as a minimum.
UT certification would be an added advantage.
