Web Developer (Backend/ DevOps) - Toa Payoh

Our esteemed client in the IT industry is seeking a Web Developer (focus on backend & devops) to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Web Developer
• Location: MacPherson
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 6.30pm
• Salary Package: Up to $7,000 + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and optimize secure, scalable backend services for cloud-based solutions. Collaborate cross-functionally in an agile, DevOps-driven environment to ensure high-quality, reliable software.
• Develop and maintain high-performance APIs/backend services in cloud-native environments.
• Partner with DevOps to automate CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and infrastructure.
• Implement TDD, code reviews, and security best practices.
• Architect systems compliant with security and regulatory standards.
• Troubleshoot and optimize systems for scalability, reliability, and observability.

Job Requirements:

• At least a Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of related working experience.
• Hands-on experience with .NET Core, Node.js, or Ruby
• Familiarity with Git workflows and CI/CD tools
• Proficient in RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), containerization tools, and databases
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools
